Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
By using Darpana Astro (“Darpana”) you agree to these terms. Please read them — especially the section on professional advice.
What Darpana is
Darpana provides classical Vedic astrology tools — birth charts, dashas, event timing, forecasts, compatibility, remedies and related readings — calculated with the Parashari system and Lahiri ayanamsha. It is offered for reflection, study and planning.
Not professional advice
Darpana’s readings describe traditional tendencies and supportive themes. They are not predictions of fate or guarantees of any outcome, and they are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, or relationship advice. Astrology should never replace your own judgement or the guidance of qualified professionals. For any real decision in those areas, please consult a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, or other appropriate professional. You are responsible for your own choices.
Accounts
If you create an account, keep your credentials secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may close it at any time.
Acceptable use
Please use Darpana lawfully and fairly. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape or overload it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm others or for any unlawful purpose.
Content & intellectual property
The software, calculations, text and design of Darpana are ours or our licensors’. The birth details and charts you enter remain yours; you grant us only the permission needed to compute and store your readings for you.
Availability & changes
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Darpana is not liable for any loss or decision arising from your use of the readings. The readings are interpretive and for reflection only.
