• Account information — your email address and an optional display name, only if you choose to register.
• Your saved content — charts and family profiles you save while logged in.
• Basic technical data — minimal device/browser information needed for the app to function and stay secure.

You can use most of Darpana anonymously, without an account. An account simply lets you save your charts.

How we use your information

• To compute and display your charts, dashas, timing, remedies and other readings.
• To save your charts to your account and let you return to them.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Storage & security

Your data is stored on our servers and we apply reasonable measures to protect it. Birth details are personal, and we treat them with care. Some preferences and your login session are kept in your browser’s local storage so the app works smoothly.

Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except service providers strictly needed to run Darpana (such as hosting), or where required by law. We do not transfer your data for anyone else’s marketing.

Your choices

• Use anonymously — no account is required for most features.
• Access or delete — to access, correct, or permanently delete your account and saved data, contact us and we will action it.

Children

Darpana is intended for adults and is not directed at children. Please do not create an account for anyone who is not of legal age in your country.
